I am currently putting together a script package for a feature film based upon  research and my interviews with four of the German officers involved in the Buchenwald concentration camp rescue of Allied airmen and soldiers, scheduled to be killed by the SS on Himmler's orders.

 One of these interviews was with SS Lt. Gen. Karl Wolff in 1984, prior to his death. He was adjutant to Heinrich Himmler. This photo was when Wolff was greeted by Hitler during a meeting with Himmler and Reinhard Heydrich. Wolff was a very interesting character with a life story during and after the war that is film worthy. he worked for the CIA after the war, go figure. Comments from his two interviews are found in most of the WW II books that I wrote regarding various subjects.
