was a notorious torture device employed in medieval Spain. 

Criminals were stripped naked and forced to straddle the pointed apparatus, resulting in excruciating pain or, in severe cases, disfiguring death. 

Almost all survivors of the Spanish Donkey uniformly reported that the experience was notably better than being fking married.
